Dear friends, Excelent Teachers

Since my dog died about a month ago, I thought I should start writing again so I can take it all out of me.. I think that losing a dog is like losing a loved one, and sometimes it hurts more. A friend of the family heard of our loss and brought us a new puppy. I never imagined owning a puppy dog is like having a baby in the house, it is really difficult but also very heart warming knowing that properly brought up she will be my best buddy. It is funny watching her chasing her tail, barking at her food and watching out of the window for doves, but I must admit that she's very different from my last doggie. My last dog was such a gentle soul, so great in the house, no barking, not chewing anything on her way-including fingers- not following everywhere I go. Anyway her training started early so I hope i will enjoy a fully obedient adult dog... Have a good day!

Χθες έζησα πρώτη φορά αυτο που ζουν οι γονείς όταν τα παιδιά τους βλέπουν εφιάλτες.. Ανά σύντομα χρονικα διαστήματα ένιωθα χεράκια να αγκαλιάζουν το χέρι μου ή να προσπαθεί να χωθεί στην αγκαλιά μου. Η αλήθεια ειναι ότι σε αυτη την ηλικία όταν βλέπεις εφιάλτες δεν σε νοιάζει ποιος είναι δίπλα σου, αρκεί να σε κάνει να διώξεις τις κακές σκέψεις από το μυαλό σου. Και ειναι απίστευτο το πόσο γρήγορα χάνονται αυτές οι τρομακτικές εικόνες με μια αγκαλιά. Όσο πιο μικρός τοσο πιο απλή η ζωή όσο μεγαλώνουμε οι δυσκολίες δεν φεύγουν με μια απλή αγκαλιά. Αλλά αυτο δεν σημαίνει ότι μια αγκαλιά δεν μπορεί να σε κάνει να αισθανθείς καλύτερα. Και το αρκουδακι που είχες δίπλα σου στον ύπνο παύει να είναι ο αγαπημένος σου sleep pal και την θέση του παίρνουν χιλιάδες φιγούρες οι οποίες πολλές φορές σου στερούν τον ύπνο, είτε επειδή ξενυχτάς για να τους σκέφτεσαι είτε επειδή στοιχειώνουν την φαντασία σου. Αυτα όμως δεν τα συνειδητοποιείς αν η ζωή σου δεν έχει παιδιά γιατι μόνο έτσι μπορείς να συγκρίνεις τις δυσκολίες τις δικές σου με την ευκολία που λύνονται αυτές των παιδιών.

Thoughts 10-9-11

It is said that you have the right to decide for your own future; we all know this is not true. We('ll) study at the university subjects that we haven't chose due to what we like but because they will ensure you a descent job and a "descent" salary (hopefully)....

         I know, I haven't updated my blog for a long time but time is rushing me lately. Well I have been thinking (all this time) what makes me go on everyday, to overcome all these obstacles and not always but sometimes complete my goals. Is it fear? Or maybe knowledge? Or anxiety? Every time that I have to go through an examination I am always afraid. But the time before the crucial  day I can't figure out if I am capable for doing this or not. But does this really matter? The results will show you soon how well-prepared you were for this test. Lately I had let stress rule my life and this wasn't a wise move. But now I am trying to control it. And it is really hard. I believe the toughest thing to do is to get to knowing yourself. Many people believe that is easy but in fact it isn't. I forgot what I wanted to write about :P ... Anyway I'll keep writing whatever comes to my mind. 

         Also fear sometimes makes us stronger and more push us to go on. But what kind of fear? I would say the fear of failure. And power of will can help us do things that we never knew we could ( I use "we" bcause I adon't like using "I" all the time) 

           A person can also motivate you to become better. Sometimes when they are upset with you they might start screaming at your face (* anger also can help!) but in a good way OF COURSE!!! Sometimes when they expect less from you, this will be your opportunity to shine and prove them that you worth more. And sometimes some people without doing anything or tell you anything, anyway I can't explain it they just motivate you. Last but not least it is true that you can become a better person in order to impress someone else.
